Forged Steel Andiron

The Andiron, also known as a fire dog or a log holder is a simple but useful accessory for your wood fired pizza oven.

It allows for better air flow around your fire wood, by lifting newly placed logs off the ember pile which can result in a hotter oven with less smoke and a more efficient burn.

This age old design andiron is a handmade by Grand Ridge Forge, constructed of thick 20mm square steel stock that comes in a forge scale finish.

The feet of the andiron are leveled and chamfered to prevent any damage to your wood fired oven floor while it’s being moved around.
